My name is Anna Claire Michael, and I am serving as the K-5th grade School Counselor/Social Worker this year. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Mississippi. I continued my education at Union University where I obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in School Guidance and Counseling from the University of West Alabama. It is going to be a fun year full of growth and new adventures!

I provide individual, group, and crisis counseling. Counseling sessions are focused on social/emotional development, self-management, social skills, maintaining friendships, and also providing support during various transitions in a student's life. We will focus on challenging ourselves, celebrating our successes, and learning from our mistakes. In my office, your child will feel SAFE, IMPORTANT, and LOVED. We are always in this together!
